Sometimes at homeschool camps we hear from guest speakers with interesting ideas. One such guest speaker is Peter Doig from sunny Queensland. He homeschooled his kids and has a keen interest in History.

I picked up a handout with the text of this blessing in Latin and English. I noticed the words: “Antiphon” and “Responsorium” and wondered if there was music out there. Whaddya know, there is!

When we were starting a schola at Lawson, a retired priest gave me a copy of this little booklet, Mass and Motets for Mixed Voices, By Polyphonic Masters. This was printed by The Advocate Press, 143-151 a’Beckett Street, Melbourne, Australia.

A long time back I did Baltimore Catechism flashcards using Anki, but that was relying on a computer program to work through the flashcards. Someone lamented the lack of free Catechism resources for Catholics.
